School of Aeronautics (SOA), Neemrana is a private aviation and aeronautical engineering institute established in 1992, specialising in aeronautical engineering education and aircraft maintenance training. The institute is well known in North India for offering aviation-focused programs rather than conventional multi-disciplinary engineering courses. The institute is approved by AICTE for its degree programs and approved by DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) programs. The B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) program is affiliated with Bikaner Technical University (BTU), Rajasthan, making the degree valid and recognised across India. SOA Neemrana is located in the Neemrana industrial belt, which is part of the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). This location gives students exposure to industrial and aviation-related activities and easy access to NCR. The campus is equipped with aircraft hangars, live aircraft, aviation labs, workshops, simulation facilities, and classrooms specifically designed for aeronautical studies. The institute focuses strongly on practical learning, combining classroom teaching with real aircraft exposure, maintenance practices, and aviation safety standards. Students are trained not only in theoretical concepts but also in aircraft structures, propulsion systems, avionics, aerodynamics, and maintenance procedures. This makes SOA distinct from regular engineering colleges where aviation exposure is mostly theoretical. SOA also offers integrated programs, allowing students to pursue B.Tech along with Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME), which increases employability in the aviation sector. Graduates typically find roles in airlines, MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul organisations), aviation services, manufacturing companies, and related technical fields.
