Eligibility requirements for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at SGT Dental College, Hospital & Research Institute, Gurgaon:

Academic Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10 2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

• Minimum aggregate marks:

  • General category: 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology combined.

  • Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD): 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

NEET UG Requirement

• A qualifying score in NEET UG is mandatory.

• Admission is based on NEET rank and merit, and conducted through centralized counseling.

Age Criteria

• Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the admission year.

Additional Notes

• Students who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates may not be eligible, subject to legal rulings.

• Result-awaiting candidates can apply, but must meet the eligibility criteria by the time of first-round counseling.

• Candidates with a B.Sc. degree in relevant subjects may also be considered, provided they meet the required academic background.
