Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

To be eligible for admission to the session, candidates must meet the criteria set by RTU and the Rajasthan government:

• Educational Qualification: Completion of 12th (Senior Secondary) from a recognized board (RBSE, CBSE, etc.).

• Compulsory Subjects: Must have passed with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects, along with one optional subject from: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology.

• Minimum Marks:

  • General/OBC Category: A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the required subjects.

  • SC/ST Category: A minimum aggregate of 40% marks in the required subjects.

• Entrance Exam: Admissions are primarily based on the JEE Main rank. In the absence of sufficient applicants, local merit-based admissions may be considered as per state guidelines.

Admission Process

Admission is managed through the REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process).

1. Entrance Exam: Candidates are encouraged to appear for the JEE Main examination.

2. REAP Registration: Candidates must register on the official .

3. Choice Filling: During the counseling process, select Shekhawati Engineering College, Dundlod as your preferred choice.

4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on JEE Main merit, and if vacancies remain, based on 12th academic merit.

5. Direct Admission (Management Quota): Like many private colleges, a percentage of seats (typically 15%) is reserved for direct admission under the Management Quota. You can contact the college admission cell directly for this process.
