Overview: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) is a premier state agricultural university established in 1999. It is accredited by the ICAR with Grade 'A' and is recognized as a Category-1 University by the UGC. The main campus is located at Chatha, Jammu. SKUAST-J is a multi-campus university dedicated to education, research, and extension in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary, and allied sciences, contributing significantly to the technological advancement of the region.
