Establishment of the Sanstha (Trust): The parent society, Shree Padmaraj Vidya Vardhaka Samstha, was established in 1969. It was founded under the leadership and blessings of the late H.H. Shri Channaveer Swamiji of Sarangamath, Sindagi, with support from local philanthropists. Establishment of the Degree College: The flagship institution of the trust, the G.P. Porwal Arts, Commerce & V.V. Salimath Science College, was established on June 15, 1972. Shree Padmaraj Vidyavardak Sanstha Sarangamath, Sindagi is a private self-financing educational institution located at Sindagi Taluk, Bijapur (Vijayapura) district, Karnataka. The institution is managed by Shree Padmaraj Vidyavardak Sanstha with the objective of promoting technical and professional education in the rural and semi-urban regions of North Karnataka. The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India, for its approved programs. The institution focuses on providing accessible technical education with emphasis on academic fundamentals, practical learning, and skill development. The campus supports academic activities through classrooms, laboratories, workshops, library facilities, and student support services.
