Shri Dharam Jeet Singh Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Shri Dharamjeet (Dharmjeet) Singh Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, set in Noorpur Tarsaura near Mirzapur Kalan on the Shahjahanpur–Badaun highway, is an establishment of legal learning that has steadily grown since its founding in 2014. Affiliated with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, and approved by the Bar Council of India, it is a privately managed institution with a clear focus on legal education—particularly its three‑year LL.B. programme, which accommodates 120 students each year.

Nestled on approximately 2.78 acres, the campus balances a rural calm with essential academic infrastructure. Classrooms are ICT-enabled, and a dedicated moot court hall underscores the college’s attention to practical legal training. A central library stocked with around 1,032 titles and 150 journals supports students’ academic pursuits, while amenities such as an auditorium, sports facilities, Wi‑Fi, hostel and medical services contribute to an engaged student experience. Admissions unfold through a merit-based process: candidates require at least 45% in 10+2 (with relaxation for reserved categories), with scores from CBSE, UP Board, or ISC all accepted. The LL.B. programme spans three years, divided into six semesters—a structure designed to align with professional norms. Although fee specifics aren’t widely advertised, the institution offers financial flexibility through merit-based scholarships and transparent governance. Its policies stress discipline—anti-ragging norms, attendance criteria, and structured campus life are clearly communicated. The college also supports co-curricular engagement through active moot court exercises, legal awareness drives, and seminar events, indicative of its goal to imbue students with courtroom readiness and ethical foundations. A student-centered placement cell delivers workshops, mock interviews, and internship opportunities, fostering professional development even if exact placement statistics remain undisclosed.

What emerges is a picture of an institution tailored to serious-minded aspirants from Shahjahanpur and nearby regions, offering focused legal education without urban distractions. For learners seeking a path in law within a grounded, academically disciplined setting, Shri Dharamjeet Singh Vidhi Mahavidyalaya presents a reliable, community-rooted choice.
