Sophitorium Engineering College (SEC), Khordha

Overview: Established in 2009, Sophitorium Engineering College was founded by a group of futurists and professionals under the Sophitorium Group. The group began its journey in 2007 with the Sophitorium Institute of Technology and Life Skills (SITAL) and quickly expanded into the technical domain with SEC. The college was established with the specific mission of providing "affordable, job-oriented, and self-reliant education" to all segments of society, focusing on awakening curiosity in young minds. The campus covers 11 acres of lush green, pollution-free land adjacent to IIT Bhubaneswar. It features three dedicated academic buildings, specialized labs for each engineering department, and an ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management. The college participates in NIRF cycles as an unranked private institution in the 201–300 band.
