Overview: Spintronic Technology and Advance Research (STAR), established in 2009 under the aegis of the Trimurti Trust, is a premier engineering institution located in the scenic "STAR Valley" near Taraboi, Bhubaneswar. Affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi, the institute expanded its academic reach by establishing a Diploma Wing in 2014 under SCTE&VT, Odisha. Spanning a vast 15-acre lush green campus, STAR is one of the rare institutes in India to be ISO 9001:2008 certified. The institution is dedicated to nurturing innovative minds through a research-oriented training approach starting from the first year, supported by a faculty of experienced academicians adapting advanced teaching methodologies. The physical infrastructure consists of spacious classrooms equipped with overhead projectors and smart display boards, state-of-the-art laboratories, a language laboratory, and a 24/7 Central Library housing over 18,000 books and journals.
