Campus Overview
SBDCH is located in Pallikaranai, Chennai, and functions under the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER). The campus is strategically positioned near the city’s IT corridor, offering both accessibility and a focused academic environment. It is designed to support comprehensive dental education, clinical training, and student development.
Academic and Clinical Facilities

Lecture Halls: Air-conditioned, spacious classrooms equipped with smart boards and audio-visual systems to facilitate interactive learning.

Dental Hospital: A fully operational hospital with over 250 dental chairs, digital radiography units, and specialty clinics. It provides extensive clinical exposure across departments such as orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and conservative dentistry.

Laboratories: Advanced preclinical and clinical labs for training in dental anatomy, materials, pathology, and radiology.

Library: A well-stocked library with over 18,000 books, 160 journals, and more than 7,000 archived issues. It remains open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and until 8 p.m. on holidays.

Satellite Clinics: Operated in Chevalu and Peddamangalaram, these clinics offer primary dental care and serve as referral centers for complex cases.

Hostels: Separate accommodations for male and female students, with options for two-bed, three-bed, and suite-style rooms. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available, each with attached bathrooms and study areas.
