BDS Admission Process – 2025

1. NEET-UG Examination Admission to the BDS program is strictly based on performance in the NEET-UG exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates must qualify with the minimum percentile prescribed by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).

 

2. Counselling Authority Admissions are managed through centralized counselling conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). This applies to:

  • State Quota seats

  • Private Quota seats

  • Management and NRI/Foreign Quota seats

 

3. Application Process

  • Candidates must register online on the KEA official website for counselling.

  • In some cases, applicants may also need to complete a separate form on the college’s official website. It is recommended to check the college site for specific instructions.

 

4. Seat Allotment

  • Seats are allotted based on NEET-UG scores and the preferences submitted during KEA counselling.

  • The merit list and seat availability determine final allotments.

 

5. Seat Categories Seats are typically distributed across the following quotas:

  • Government Quota (via KEA)

  • Private Quota

  • Management Quota

  • NRI/Foreign Quota
