NEET-UG Requirement

• Mandatory Exam: All candidates must appear for and qualify in the NEET-UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

• Minimum Qualifying Percentile (as per DCI and MoHFW guidelines):

Educational Qualification

• Academic Requirement: Must have passed 10 2 / 2nd PUC or equivalent examination.

• Subjects Required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

• Minimum Aggregate Marks in PCB:

  • General Category: 50 percent

  • SC/ST/OBC Categories: 40 percent

  • General PwD Category: 45 percent

Age Criteria

• Minimum Age: Candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.

• Upper Age Limit: Currently, there is no upper age limit for appearing in NEET-UG, as per NTA and Supreme Court guidelines.

Admission and Counselling Process

• Counselling Authority: Admission is managed through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for:

  • Government Quota

  • Private/Other Quota

  • NRI/Management Quota

• Application Process: Candidates must register on the KEA website and may also need to apply through the college’s portal.

• Seat Allotment: Based on NEET-UG merit, category, and preferences filled during counselling.

• NRI/Foreign category seats are available and require NEET qualification.
