Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Age: The applicant must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2025.

Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects. English must also be included in the curriculum.

Minimum Marks:

General Category: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

SC/ST/OBC Categories: A minimum of 40% aggregate marks in the same subjects.

OC-PH Candidates: A minimum of 45% aggregate marks is required.

Entrance Examination: A valid and qualifying score in NEET-UG, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is mandatory for all applicants, including those applying under government, management, or NRI quotas.
Admission Procedure
The admission process follows a structured sequence:

NEET-UG Examination: Candidates must appear for and qualify the NEET-UG exam. This is the sole entrance test recognized for BDS admissions across India.

Counseling Registration: After the NEET results are declared, eligible candidates must register for the state-level counseling through the official website of Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences.
