Admission Process
A) Government Quota (TNEA)
The majority of seats are filled through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) centralized counseling.

Counseling Code: 1241

Selection: Based on the "Cutoff" marks calculated from your 12th-grade PCM scores (normalized to 200). There is no separate entrance exam for this quota.

Process: Register on the TNEA portal (expected May 2026), participate in online choice filling, and select TJSEC using code 1241.
B) Management Quota
-
Process: Candidates can apply directly to the college. While merit in 10 2 is still required, selection is handled by the institution's management following Anna University guidelines.
