Techno International Batanagar (TIB) is a private engineering institute located in Maheshtala, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. It is part of the Techno India Group, one of the largest private education groups in eastern India, and is approved by AICTE, Govt. of India and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). The institute was established to provide quality technical education in engineering, computer science, and related streams with the aim of developing professional competencies and enhancing employability in students. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) was started in 2012 and aims to equip students with both theoretical foundation and practical skills to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech sector. The curriculum is designed to strike a balance between classroom learning, hands-on lab experience, industry exposure, seminars, and workshops. The CSE department specifically encourages students to go beyond the regular syllabus through exposure to emerging technologies, industry practices, research activities, and guest lectures by professionals. The faculty consists of experienced teachers and researchers dedicated to student development. Students are also involved in various co-curricular and extra-curricular events that boost creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
