UNIVERSITY OF KALYANI (KU), NADIA

The University of Kalyani (KU) is a state government university located in Kalyani, Nadia district, West Bengal. It was established in 1960 with the objective of expanding higher education and research opportunities in the southern region of West Bengal. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and operates as both a teaching and affiliating university. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil (where applicable), diploma, certificate, and doctoral programmes across science, arts, commerce, education, management, engineering, pharmacy, law, and allied disciplines. It also affiliates a large number of colleges across Nadia and adjoining districts.
