Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications: For B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10 2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in the PCM aggregate is mandatory.

Qualifying Examination: Admission is based on the JEE Main score through the UPTAC (AKTU) counseling. For M.Tech, a valid GATE score is preferred.

Cut-off Marks: Closing ranks are determined annually based on AKTU counseling rounds and student preferences.

Relaxation: A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is granted to reserved category candidates as per state government norms.
2. Admission Process

Application Mode: Available both Online (through vgi.ac.in) and Offline (at the campus admission office).

Application Fees: Approximately ₹1,000 for the registration form.

Shortlisting: Shortlisting is done based on JEE Main merit for counseling seats and 10 2 marks for Management Quota (Direct Admission) seats.

Final Selection: Final admission is confirmed after the university counseling process, document verification, and payment of the admission fee.

Scholarship: Meritorious students and those from reserved categories are eligible for the UP State Scholarship and fee reimbursement.
