Admission
1. Admission Quotas
Seats are distributed into two primary categories in accordance with the Government of Kerala’s self-financing college norms:

Government Quota (50%): Allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).

Management Quota (50%): Filled by the college management based on merit. This includes the NRI Quota (15% of total seats), where students are exempted from the entrance exam but must meet academic eligibility.
2. Eligibility Criteria
B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology)

Academic: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Plus Two) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Subject Marks: A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (or Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology) is required.

Entrance Exam: For Merit and Management seats, a valid score in the KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical) entrance examination is mandatory.
M.Tech (Master of Technology)

Academic: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA).

Selection: Preference is given to candidates with a valid GATE score. In the absence of GATE-qualified candidates, seats are filled based on the aggregate marks of the qualifying degree or a college-level entrance test/interview.
3. Application Process

Online Registration: Candidates can apply directly through the "Apply Now" portal on the official website (ycet.ac.in/apply-now/).

KEAM CAP: For Government Quota, students must register and select YCET as an option during the CEE Kerala counseling process.

Direct Admission: For Management and NRI seats, candidates should submit the college-level application form available on the website or at the college admission office.
