Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

To be eligible for admission to the NSUT East Campus (formerly AIACTR) for the session, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class 12th examination (or equivalent) from a recognized board.

• Core Subjects: Must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and English (core or elective) as subjects of study.

• Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is required.

• Entrance Exam: Admission is strictly based on the All India Rank (AIR) secured in the JEE Main Paper 1.

Admission Process

The admission is conducted centrally through the Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi.

1. JEE Main: Appear for the JEE Main examination.

2. JAC Delhi Registration: Once the JEE results are declared, candidates must register on the JAC Delhi official portal.

3. Choice Filling: During the counseling process, candidates must select Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and specifically choose the branches offered at the East Campus (Geeta Colony).

4. Counseling Rounds: JAC Delhi conducts multiple rounds of seat allotment based on JEE Main ranks and the candidate's preferences.

5. Physical Reporting: After seat allotment, candidates must report for document verification and fee payment to confirm their admission.

Categories and Quotas

• Delhi Region Candidates (85% Seats): For students who have passed their qualifying examination (12th) from a school located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.

• Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% Seats): For students who have passed their qualifying examination from a school located outside the NCT of Delhi.

• Reservation: Standard government reservation policies apply for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS, and PwD categories.

• JAC Delhi Registration Form and Seat Allotment Letter.
