Established in 1939 during the reign of the Maharaja of Travancore, Sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) holds the distinction of being the first engineering college in the state of Kerala. Over the past eight decades, it has evolved into a premier institution for technical education in India, consistently ranking among the top engineering colleges nationally. Academic Excellence and Accreditations CET is renowned for its rigorous academic standards and is currently affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). It offers a wide array of programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
