Admission

1. Undergraduate (B.Tech) Admissions

Undergraduate admissions are primarily managed by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala.

  • Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify for the KEAM (for Engineering) or NATA (for Architecture).

  • Eligibility: Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Plus Two) with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or equivalent subjects).

  • Selection Process: For B.Tech, the rank list is prepared by giving 50:50 weightage to KEAM scores and the normalized marks of the qualifying examination. For B.Arch, the NATA score is combined with the qualifying exam marks.

  • Allotment: Seats are filled through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). CET is typically the first choice for toppers, with many branches closing within the top 500–1,500 state ranks.

2. Postgraduate (M.Tech) Admissions

Postgraduate admissions focus on specialized entrance tests and academic consistency.

  • M.Tech: Candidates must have a valid GATE score. Non-GATE candidates are considered only if seats remain vacant, based on their undergraduate aggregate marks. Applications are usually processed through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Kerala.
