Eligibility
BDS Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V. Dental College, candidates must meet the following academic and regulatory standards:
Educational Qualification

Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

Minimum aggregate marks:

General category: 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

SC/ST/OBC (Karnataka): 40% in the same subjects.

Age Requirement

Candidates must be 17 years or older as of December 31st in the year of admission.
Entrance Exam Requirement

A valid NEET-UG score is mandatory. NEET-UG is the sole entrance examination for admission to the BDS program.

Admission is conducted through state-level counseling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), which allocates seats under Government, Private, and NRI quotas based on NEET ranks.
