Admission Process: Two Stages The selection process is conducted in two stages: shortlisting for the Personal Interview (PI) and preparation of the final merit list.

  1. Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who meet the minimum CAT cut-offs and submit the online application are shortlisted based on an Admission Index Score. This score assigns weightage to multiple factors:

    • CAT Score (Overall): ~60 marks

    • Bachelor’s Degree Marks: ~7 marks

    • Class 12 Marks: ~7 marks

    • Class 10 Marks: ~7 marks

    • Work Experience: ~7 marks

    • Gender Diversity (additional marks for female candidates): ~6 marks

    • Graduate from MoE-funded Technical Institution/Institute of Eminence/INI: ~6 marks

  2. Final Selection: The final merit list is prepared using a composite score derived from:

    • Shortlisting Index Score (Stage 1): ~65% weightage

    • Personal Interview (PI) Score: ~30% weightage

    • Extra-Curricular Activities: ~5% weightage

For DMS IIT Delhi MBA admissions, the application fee is typically INR 1600 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and INR 800 for SC/ST/PwD candidates

CAT Cut-offs DMS IIT Delhi applies two types of CAT cut-offs: a qualifying cut-off (minimum required to apply) and an actual/final cut-off (minimum required to receive a PI call or final admission offer).

  • Qualifying CAT Percentile (Minimum Eligibility):

    • General: Overall ~90 percentile; ~80 percentile in each section

    • NC-OBC: Overall ~81 percentile; ~72 percentile in each section

    • SC/ST/PwD: Overall ~60 percentile; ~53 percentile in each section

  • Actual/Final CAT Percentile (Call Cut-off): The percentile required to secure a PI call is significantly higher, as shortlisting depends on the overall profile index (CAT score, academics, work experience, diversity, etc.). Historically, candidates in the General category with an overall CAT percentile in the range of 97–98 have had strong chances of receiving a PI call.
