BDS Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed the 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

The qualifying subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology), and English.

Minimum aggregate marks required in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB):

General (Unreserved) Category: 50 percent

SC/ST/OBC Categories: 40 percent

Age Criteria

The candidate must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the admission year.

There is no upper age limit as per current NEET guidelines.
Entrance Examination Requirement

Admission to the BDS program is strictly based on performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Candidates must qualify NEET-UG with a valid score above the prescribed cut-off for their category.
Additional Notes

Candidates must participate in the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for Deemed Universities.

Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, preferences submitted during counselling, and seat availability.

NRI, PIO, OCI, and foreign nationals are also eligible, provided they meet the academic and NEET criteria.
