Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), established in 1998 by the Government of NCT of Delhi under the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act (amended in 1999), is a premier teaching and affiliating institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 12B of the UGC Act. Accredited with an A++ grade and a CGPA of 3.56 on a seven-point scale, valid for seven years from 14 February 2023, the University is committed to advancing studies, research, and extension work in emerging areas of higher education, with a strong focus on professional disciplines such as engineering, technology, management, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, and law.
