Eligibility Criteria

• General MBA Specializations (e.g., Finance, Marketing, HR, International Business):
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks
• OR Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology or equivalent
• OR Final qualification from ICAI, ICWAI, or ICSI
• MBA in Financial Analysis:

• Same as General MBA, but Mathematics at Class 12 level is mandatory

MBA Admission Process – GGSIPU

1. Eligibility & Entrance Exams

Admission is based on national-level entrance exam performance, with a clear preference order for merit ranking.

• Minimum Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

• Accepted Entrance Exams (Preference Order):

  1. CAT (Common Admission Test): First priority for merit list preparation and counseling.

  2. CMAT (Common Management Admission Test): Considered only if seats remain after exhausting CAT merit list.

  3. IPU CET (MBA): Conducted by GGSIPU; considered only if seats remain after CAT and CMAT lists.

• Application Requirement:

  • All candidates must register online on the GGSIPU admission portal, regardless of entrance exam score.

2. Application & Registration

• Online Registration: Fill out the centralized MBA application form (Code 101) on the official GGSIPU portal.

• Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee.

• Score Submission: Provide details and percentile/score of the qualifying exam (CAT/CMAT/IPU CET).

3. Merit List Preparation

The university prepares a merit list following this hierarchy:

1. CAT Score Merit List (ranked by percentile).

2. CMAT Score Merit List (if CAT seats remain unfilled).

3. IPU CET Score Merit List (if CAT and CMAT seats remain unfilled).

CAT Cutoff
