Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech / B.Arch: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (HSC) with a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or be in the top 20 percentile of their board.

• M.Tech / M.Plan: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD).

Qualifying Exam

• B.Tech: JEE Main (Paper 1).

• M.Tech / M.Plan: GATE.

Application Process

1. Entrance Exam: Register and appear for the relevant national entrance exam.

2. Counseling Registration: Participate in the centralized counseling:

• JoSAA/CSAB for B.Tech/B.Arch.

• CCMT for M.Tech/M.Plan.

3. Choice Filling: Select IIEST Shibpur as the preferred institute during the rounds.

4. Seat Allotment & Reporting: After allotment, report for document verification and pay the balance admission fees.
