Scholarships and Financial Aids Offered:
1. Internal Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA)
The primary financial aid offered directly by IIM Calcutta to ensure students are not forced to discontinue studies due to financial constraints.

Eligibility: Students with gross annual family income (including parents, spouse, and self) below ₹8 Lakhs.

Application Period: Typically opens in August, after the first term begins.

Assessment: Based on family income, assets, and educational loans taken.

Benefit: Ranges from partial tuition fee waiver to full reimbursement, depending on financial need.
2. External & Corporate Scholarships
Several private foundations and corporate sponsors provide merit-cum-means scholarships to IIM Calcutta students.

Aditya Birla Scholarship: ₹1.75 – ₹3.00 Lakhs; awarded to top-ranking first-year students, renewable in second year if within top 25% of batch.
