Admission
Eligibility Criteria – IIM Lucknow PGP (MBA)

Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 45% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Final Year Students: Eligible to apply, provided they complete all degree requirements by June 30 of the admission year.

Entrance Exam: A valid CAT score is mandatory.

Work Experience: Not compulsory, but relevant full-time experience is given weightage during shortlisting and final selection.
Admission Process
The selection process has two stages:
Stage 1 – Shortlisting for WAT & PI Candidates meeting the minimum CAT cut-offs are ranked using a Composite Score with the following weightage:

CAT Score (Scaled Overall): 60%

Class XII Marks: 10%

Graduation Marks: 10%

Work Experience (above 6 months): 10%

Academic Diversity: 5%

Gender Diversity (Female Candidates): 5%
Stage 2 – Final Selection (WAT & PI) Shortlisted candidates undergo a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The final merit list is prepared using:

Personal Interview (PI): 40%

CAT Score: 30%

Written Ability Test (WAT): 10%

Academic Profile (Class XII Graduation): 10%

Work Experience: 5%

Diversity Factor: 5%
Note: Candidates must score at least 12 out of 40 marks in the PI to be considered for the final merit list, regardless of CAT percentile or academic profile.
MBA Cut-offs (CAT Percentile)
IIM Lucknow uses two levels of cut-offs:

General: 97 percentile (calls may be given at ~95 for strong profiles such as non-engineer female candidates).

ST / PwD: ~75 percentile.
Application Fee:

PGP/MBA Program: No separate application fee for domestic candidates. The cost is included in the CAT registration fee.

Other Programs:

PGPWE: ₹1,000 (non-refundable).

IPMX: ₹5,000 (non-refundable).
