Scholarships and Financial Aid Offered:

1. Internal Scholarships (IIM Lucknow)

These are institute-managed financial aid packages, primarily aimed at supporting students from economically weaker backgrounds.

  • Need-Based Financial Assistance (NBFA):

    • Eligibility: Students from all categories (General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS) with gross annual family income (self, parents, spouse combined) below ₹4 Lakhs.

    • Selection: Evaluated through a Need-cum-Merit score, considering both financial status and academic performance (CGPA).

    • Benefit: Tuition fee waiver or reimbursement for one academic year.

    • Disbursal: Announced and processed after the first term of the PGP program.

  • Merit-Based Awards:

    • Academic Excellence Awards: Cash prizes or certificates awarded to top-ranking students at the end of the first and second years.

 

2. Government of India Scholarships

Students can apply for central and state-level schemes via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

  • Top Class Education (SC): For SC category students; covers full tuition fee, living expenses (~₹2,200/month), and computer allowance.

  • National Fellowship (ST): For ST category students; covers tuition fees and other academic expenses.

  • Merit-cum-Means (Minority): For minority community students; financial aid available for families with annual income below ₹2.5 Lakhs.

  • Top Class Education (PwD): For differently-abled students; provides maintenance and tuition fee allowance (family income below ₹8 Lakhs).
