Admission Process – Step-by-Step

1. Application Submission

• Candidates must register for the relevant entrance exam (CAT / MAT / XAT / GMAT) for their chosen program.

• After receiving scores, apply through the IMT Nagpur official portal or through the common admission process for PGDM programs.

• PhD aspirants must apply directly via the official IMT Nagpur website (imt.ac.in) with research proposal and academic documents.

• Application Fee: The non-refundable application fee for the PGDM program (which is equivalent to an MBA) at IMT Nagpur is ₹3,500 (Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred) plus applicable taxes/charges

2. Selection Stages

• MBA / PGDM: Based on entrance exam scores, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

• Executive MBA: Consideration of entrance exam score, work experience, and interview performance.

• PhD: Based on research proposal, interview, and qualifying test (if applicable).

3. Cutoff Release, Counselling & Seat Confirmation

• IMT Nagpur releases program-wise cutoffs and shortlists candidates for final selection rounds.

• Selected candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
