The admission process for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is highly competitive and is primarily based on the University's own Entrance Exam.
1. Eligibility Criteria
The basic eligibility criteria for the Full-Time MBA programs are:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution

2. Admission Process (Full-Time MBA)
The selection process for the Full-Time MBA programs (General, International Business, Entrepreneurship & Family Business, Healthcare & Hospital Management, and Pharmaceutical Management) is a multi-stage process:
Phase 1: Entrance Test

JMI Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for the JMI Entrance Test specifically conducted for the MBA program by the university's Controller of Examinations.

The test is typically held in April/May.

The paper usually consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) covering sections like Health/Environmental Awareness, Reasoning and Data Analysis, Comprehension and Verbal Ability, and Quantitative and Numerical Ability.

Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted based on their score in the JMI Entrance Test. A minimum qualifying score (cutoff) is required to be eligible for the next round.
Phase 2: Subsequent Rounds

Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates are called for a Group Discussion round.

Personal Interview (PI) / Aptitude Assessment: This is followed by a Personal Interview or an equivalent Aptitude Assessment round.
Phase 3: Final Merit List
The Total Merit for the final admission offer is typically calculated based on the candidate's performance in all stages:

3. Application Process

Online Registration: Applications must be submitted online through the official JMI admission portal.

Form Filling: Candidates must fill in their personal, academic, and contact details, and select the desired MBA program.

Document Upload: Scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and necessary academic documents (10th, 12th, Graduation Marksheets) must be uploaded.

Fee Payment: The application fee Rs. 1000 (which varies by course/category) must be paid online.

Admit Card & Exam: Download the admit card and appear for the JMI Entrance Exam on the scheduled date.
