Eligibility
BDS Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, candidates must meet the following conditions:

Educational Qualification: Must have passed the 10 2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

General Category: Minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum of 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

NEET-UG Requirement: A valid and qualifying score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) is mandatory for admission.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31 of the admission year.
Admission Process

Entrance Exam: Candidates must appear for and qualify in NEET-UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Counseling Registration: After NEET results are announced, candidates must register for counseling:

State Quota (85%): Through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

All India Quota (15%): Through the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: Candidates select preferred colleges and courses during counseling. Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, category, and seat availability.

Document Verification and Admission Confirmation: Candidates allotted a seat must report to the college with original documents for verification and complete the admission formalities, including fee payment
