Overview
Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT Jaipur), originally established in 1963 as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, is a premier technical institution jointly founded by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan. It was granted the status of National Institute of Technology in 2002 and recognized as an Institute of National Importance in 2007 through an Act of Parliament. Funded entirely by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, MNIT Jaipur is located in the heart of Jaipur, spread across a scenic 317-acre campus that blends modern architecture with natural beauty. The campus is well-connected to key city infrastructure including the airport, railway station, hospitals, and commercial hubs.
