Admission

Admission Process

Admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at MAIDS is based on the NEET UG examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The process involves both national-level and state-level counseling:

  1. NEET UG Examination: Candidates must appear for and qualify the NEET UG exam to be eligible for admission.

  2. Counseling Registration: After NEET results are declared, candidates must register for counseling under two quotas:

    • All India Quota (AIQ): Managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), covering 15% of the total seats.

    • State Quota: Conducted by the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, for the remaining 85% of seats.

  3. Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: During counseling, candidates must select their preferred institutions. Listing MAIDS as a top choice is essential. Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, preferences, and applicable reservation categories.

  4. Document Verification and Admission Confirmation Candidates allotted a seat must report to MAIDS with original documents for verification. Upon successful verification, admission fees must be paid to confirm the seat.
