MICA, formerly known as the Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, is an autonomous, non-profit institution located in Shela, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Founded in 1991, MICA has carved a niche as the only residential institute in India dedicated to creating leadership in Strategic Marketing and Communication. It is governed by the MICA Society and recognized by the AICTE, with its flagship program being the Post Graduate Diploma in Management–Communications (PGDM-C). The institute offers a range of programs including PGDM, PGDM-C, Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), and various certificate courses in digital marketing, media, and communication. Admissions to PGDM and PGDM-C are based on CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, followed by the MICAT entrance test, Group Exercise (GE), and Personal Interview (PI). MICAT is a unique test designed by MICA to assess analytical, creative, and communication skills.
