Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) from a recognized university and A minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in the Bachelor's Degree.

• They must also have appeared in at least one of the following exams:

  1. CAT (Common Admission Test)

  2. XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)

  3. GMAT 

MICAT – MICA’s Own Admission Test

All applicants must take MICAT, which is conducted twice a year:

• MICAT I: First Saturday of December

• MICAT II: Last Saturday of January Candidates can appear for both; the better score is considered.

• The MICAT exam assesses a candidate's aptitude in areas like Psychometrics (qualifying), Descriptive Writing, Divergent & Convergent Thinking, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Awareness.

• The application form fee for MICA's PGDM programs (PGDM-C and PGDM) is paid along with the registration for the MICAT exam is Rs. 2500

 Selection Process:

Admission is based on a three-stage process:

1. CAT/XAT/GMAT scores 

2. MICAT performance 

3. Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI)

To qualify:

• Candidates must clear the Psychometric Test (Section A).

• Then, their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores are considered.

• Those meeting the cutoff move to evaluation of Section C and then Section B of MICAT.

• Shortlisted candidates are invited for GE & PI.
