Eligibility Criteria

• B.Tech: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (HSC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD).

• M.Tech: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD).

Qualifying Exam

• B.Tech: JEE Main (Paper 1).

• M.Tech: GATE.

Application Process

1. Entrance Exam: Appear for JEE Main, GATE, or IIT JAM as applicable.

2. Counseling: Register for centralized counseling:

• JoSAA/CSAB for B.Tech.

• CCMT for M.Tech.

• CCMN for M.Sc.

3. Direct Application: For Ph.D. and M.Tech (Institute Mode/Sponsored), apply directly via the official NIT Meghalaya website.

4. Reporting: Post seat allotment, complete document verification and pay the admission fees.
