Overview
North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) is a unique science and technology-oriented institute established in 1984 in Nirjuli, Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh). The institute is AICTE approved and functions with a distinctive modular pattern of education. It is a deemed-to-be-university, autonomous, fully funded and controlled by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.NERIST is dedicated to producing technical manpower for the North Eastern Region and holds the Rank Band 151-200 in the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2024.
