Mode of Admission
Admissions to NERIST programs are conducted through the NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) and other institute-specified entrance tests. For B.Tech and related programs, entry may also be through JEE Main via JoSAA/CSAB counselling. Postgraduate programs use NEPGET or valid GATE scores for selection.

Eligibility Criteria
-
Certificate Module: Passed Class 10 or equivalent with required subjects.

Diploma Module: Passed Class 12th or NERIST Certificate Module as per rules.

B.Tech Programs: Passed Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or qualified NEE-II / JEE Main.

M.Tech: B.Tech/B.E. degree with required minimum marks and valid qualifying score (GATE/NEPGET).

M.Sc: Bachelor’s degree in relevant science discipline with required marks.

MBA: Bachelor’s degree with qualifying entrance scores (CAT/MAT) and interview.

Ph.D.: Master’s degree with specified minimum criteria and interview.
Application Fee

General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,500

SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,000

Scholarships
Students are eligible for scholarships offered through the National Scholarship Portal, Central & State Government schemes, and stipends for North Eastern students as per norms.
