1. Admission Route:

   • TNEA Counselling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai.

   • Merit-based selection using Class 12 PCM marks.

2. Steps:

   1. Register for TNEA online.

   2. Submit academic details and certificates.

   3. Participate in single-window counselling.

   4. Seat allotment based on rank, category, and preference.

   5. Report to PSGCT for document verification and fee payment.

 Eligibility Criteria

1. Academic Qualification: Passed Class 12 (HSC) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

2. Minimum Marks:

   • General Category – 45% aggregate in PCM.

   • Reserved Categories (BC, BCM, MBC, DNC, SC, SCA, ST) – 40% aggregate.

3. Nativity Requirement:

   • Tamil Nadu natives automatically eligible (studied Class 8–12 in TN).

   • Non-natives must produce a Nativity Certificate or meet special criteria (children of Govt. employees in TN).

4. Age Limit: Minimum 17 years; no upper age limit (except Marine Engineering – max 25 years).

5. Vocational Stream: Candidates with vocational subjects must pass in one engineering-related subject (Maths/Physics/Chemistry).

 Documents Required

1. Class 10th & 12th mark sheets and certificates.

2. Transfer/Migration Certificate.

3. Community/Category Certificate (if applicable).

4. Nativity Certificate (for non-TN students).

5. Aadhaar card or valid ID proof.

6. Passport-size photographs.
