Eligibility
To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research, candidates must meet the following NEET-based eligibility criteria:
Academic Qualifications

Must have passed 10 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

Minimum aggregate marks:

General category: 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

SC/ST/OBC category: 40% in PCB

PWD candidates: 45% in PCB (for General-PWD category)

Entrance Exam Requirement

Must have qualified NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate).

NEET qualification is mandatory for admission to all dental colleges in India, including Rungta College.

Admission is based on NEET rank and score, followed by centralized counseling.
Age Criteria

Minimum age: 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year.

Maximum age: 25 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Counseling Process

Candidates must participate in Chhattisgarh State NEET counseling or All India Quota counseling, depending on their domicile and seat preference.

Seat allotment is based on NEET score, category, and availability.
