Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission

Age Requirement Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31st of the year of admission.

Academic Qualification Applicants must have passed the 10 2 or equivalent examination with the following subjects as mandatory:

Physics

Chemistry
-
Biology/Biotechnology
-
English

Minimum Marks Required

General Category: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology.

SC/ST/OBC Categories: Minimum 40% aggregate in the same subjects.

Entrance Examination A valid and qualifying score in NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate) is mandatory.

NEET-UG is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Admission is based on merit and participation in Andhra Pradesh NEET BDS counseling, managed by Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences.
