Student Life at First Moscow State Medical University
Life at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (FMSMU) is dynamic, combining high-quality academics with a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. The university ensures that international students feel comfortable and engaged throughout their journey in Russia.

Hostel & Accommodation at First Moscow State Medical University
The accommodation system at FMSMU is designed to meet the diverse needs of medical students coming from different countries. The university hostel complex has five buildings with a total capacity of about 2,600 residents.
Each room is fully furnished with essential items like beds, tables, and chairs, ensuring a functional and comfortable living space. In addition, the hostel includes common rooms and social spaces where students can relax, interact, and study together.
The administration ensures that all residents have access to the necessary facilities for a balanced student life — combining academic focus with social interaction. The environment promotes a sense of community while also supporting students’ academic and personal well-being.
