Eligibility Criteria

Primary Exam: KCET 2026 is the mandatory entrance test for Karnataka domicile students.

All India Quota: A small percentage of seats may be accessible via JEE Main ranks through the centralized KEA process.

Academic Criteria: * Passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Optional subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology, or Electronics.

Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate in optional subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC Karnataka candidates).

Admission Process

Qualify Entrance Exam: Appear for KCET (UG) or PGCET/GATE (PG).

KEA Counseling: Register on the KEA Portal, upload documents for verification, and receive a verification slip.

Option Entry: Select UVCE (College Code: E001) as your top priority during the online choice-filling rounds.

Seat Allotment: Based on your rank and category, KEA will issue an Admission Order.

Reporting: Visit the UVCE campus (K.R. Circle for most branches) to submit the original documents and finalize your enrollment.
