Banasthali Vidyapith

Banasthali Vidyapith, established in 1935, is a unique and premier fully residential women's university in the world. Founded by the freedom fighters and educationists Pandit Hiralal Shastri and Smt. Ratan Shastri, the institution was born out of a desire to reconstruct a program of education for women that blends the synthesis of spiritual values and scientific achievements of the East and the West. Originally named 'Shri Shantabai Shiksha Kutir' in memory of their daughter, it evolved into a Deemed University in 1983. The university promotes a distinct educational ideology known as "Panchmukhi Shiksha" (Five-fold Education), which encompasses physical, practical, aesthetic, moral, and intellectual development to ensure the holistic growth of its students.
