Eligibility
Educational Qualification

Must have completed 10 2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board.

Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

Minimum aggregate marks:

General category: 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.

SC/ST/OBC categories: 45% in the same subjects.

Entrance Exam Requirement

Must qualify the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test), which is mandatory for admission to all dental colleges in India.

Admission is based on NEET scores through centralized counseling conducted by:
-
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for state quota seats.
-
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All-India quota seats under deemed universities.

Age Criteria

Candidate must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.

There is currently no upper age limit for NEET-UG as per the latest guidelines.

Must complete the counseling registration process and participate in seat allotment.
