The Goa Dental College & Hospital is a professional college which was established by the Government in June, 1980. This Institution is affiliated to the Goa University and recognized by the Dental Council of India. It acts as a referral centre in the state for dental services and has been rendering specialized services through nine departments in various specialities which provide the students clinical exposure and experience in imparting dental care to the patients. Goa Dental College & Hospital (GDCH), located in Bambolim, Goa, is a prominent government institution dedicated to dental education and oral healthcare. The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a five-year course, which includes four years of academic instruction followed by a one-year compulsory paid rotating internship. The annual intake for the BDS program is 50 students, and admission is based on merit through the NEET UG examination. For postgraduate education, GDCH provides the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in all nine recognized specialties in ,Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge,Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics,Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,Oral Pathology and Microbiology,Periodontology,Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics,Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry,Oral Medicine and Radiology,Public Health Dentistry
