BDS Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the undergraduate BDS program, candidates must meet the following standards:

• Educational Qualification

  • Must have completed 10 2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

  • Required subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

  • Minimum marks:

    • General category: At least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

    • Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC): Relaxation may apply as per government norms.

• Entrance Exam Requirement

  • Must qualify the NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • Admission is based on NEET rank through centralized counseling by:

    • Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota (15%)

    • ACPUGMEC (Gujarat State Counseling) for State Quota (85%)

• Age Requirement

  • Must be at least 17 years old as of December 31 of the admission year.

MDS Eligibility Criteria

For postgraduate admission to the MDS program, candidates must fulfill the following:

• Educational Qualification

  • Must hold a BDS degree from a recognized dental college or university approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).

  • Completion of a one-year rotating internship is mandatory.

• Entrance Exam Requirement

  • Must qualify the NEET-MDS conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

  • Admission is granted through counseling based on NEET-MDS scores, managed by MCC and ACPUGMEC depending on the quota.
