Admission Overview

Admission to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at Government Dental College, Kottayam is strictly based on performance in the NEET-UG exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Step-by-Step Admission Process

1. Eligibility Criteria

3. Counselling Process

Admission is conducted under two quotas, each managed by a separate authority:

  • Merit List: CEE prepares a state merit list based on NEET scores and reservation norms.

  • Option Entry: Candidates choose preferred colleges and courses, including GDC Kottayam.

  • Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank, preferences, category, and seat availability.

  • Reporting: Selected candidates must report to the college with original documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

 

Important Note on Cut-offs
