IIT Kanpur has a sprawling, well-planned residential campus covering 1,055 acres, divided into academic, residential, and community zones. The campus infrastructure is known for its spacious layout, excellent IT facilities, and extensive research centers.
Academic Infrastructure
The academic area is centrally located and designed for easy pedestrian access, featuring an elevated corridor system connecting major buildings.

Lecture Hall Complex (LHC) & Tutorial Block: Houses numerous lecture halls and classrooms, many of which are centrally air-conditioned and equipped with modern audio-visual technology.
